Here's how a typical CEREC procedure goes (the whole visit takes about an hour)

Beautiful restorations in just 1 visit

• Exam and Preparation -- We examine your tooth, decide on the preparation method, and start prepping the tooth (removing the tooth decay).
• Optical Impression -- An optical impression (picture) of the prepared tooth is taken. No gagging impressions needed!
• Restoration Creation -- We use the CEREC machine to design and create the dental filling, dental crown or dental onlay right in the office!
• After the restoration is milled out of the solid block of porcelain (10-15 minutes) it is polished and bonded to the tooth.
